Judge # 2

Melinda Aranda is a graduate of Augusta State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications with a Minor in Speech. She is a Medical Sales Representative for Zoll Medical in South Carolina.

Melinda has been involved in pageant for over 20 years serving as Co-Director, Business Manager and Contestants Chaperon for the Miss Augusta Scholarship Pageant as well as a former Judge’s Chair for the Miss Charleston/North Charleston Scholarship Pageant. Melinda is a former member of the Miss Georgia Forestry Pageant Advisory Board and currently is the Judge’s Chairperson for five Miss South Carolina USA and Miss South Carolina Teen USA Preliminaries as well as the Judges Chairperson for Miss South Carolina High School & College Pageant.

A former contestant herself, Melinda has held the titles of Miss Augusta Futurity 1994 and Miss Richmond Co. Forestry 1991. Melinda had the honor of being crowned Miss Georgia Forestry 1992 which is the second largest scholarship Pageant in the state. She spent her year traveling Georgia promoting Forestry.

Melinda resides in Charleston, SC with her husband of 13 years, Jimmy and her 2 year old twins Amelia and Parker.
