Hope Wiseman is the 19 year old daughter of Mr. Martin and Dr. Octavia Wiseman and has two brothers, Martin (17) and Anthony (5). Originally from the Washington, DC metro area Hope now resides in Atlanta, GA where she attends Spelman College pursing a degree in Economics. Hope is involved with numerous on campus activities such as the Economics Club, the Morehouse Business Association, and is one of the spearheads of a new branch of SGA that promotes financial literacy on Spelman's campus. Hope has been dancing since the age of ten and has always had a passion for performing.
Hope would like to inspire today's youth to Be Above the Standard and live out their dreams. Students live up or down to the expectations that are set for them. All to often, students fail to reach their full potential and simply meet basic standards in order to pass. Hope believes that with the proper guidance, support, and a positive attitude any student can reach extraordinary heights. Hope plans to use her title as Miss Fulton County 2011 to take this message to students throughout the county. She currently volunteers with Raising Expectations, a non-profit youth development organization that brings mentors to low motivated and low income students.
Along with her work with her platform, Be Above the Standard, Hope also works very hard to promote the Miss America national platform, Children's Miracle Network. The Children's Miracle Network raises funds for Children's Hospital's throughout the country.
